FOREIGNERS OWNERSHIP LAWS IN ABU DHABI

RESIDENCY TO FREE HOLD OWNERS
THE NATIONAL NEWSPAPER REPORTED THAT A NEW LAW WILL BE IMPLEMENTED WITHIN A YEAR TO ALLOW FREE HOLD PROPERTY OWNERS
TO OBTAIN SIX MONTH RENEWABLE VISA .IT WILL APPLY TO ALL NATIONALITIES OR PROPERTY SIZE AND VALUE . THIS LAW IS AIMED
TO UNIFY THE VISA SYSTEM RELATED TO HOME PURCHASES IN ALL UAE.
The property law in Abu Dhabi allows foreigners to own property in specified investment zones , property laws does not allow foreigners to own property free hold .According to the law foreigners can hold land title for 99 years only and in certain areas for 50 years renewable .

- Local Citizens
- GCC Citizens
- GCC Companies
- Ex-Patriates - Residents and Non Residents
WHERE YOU CAN OWN PROPERTY IN ABU DHABI
- Local Citizens -Any where in Abu Dhabi for unlimited time , in investment zones for 99 years
- GCC Citizens - In the investment zones for 99 years
Any where - Villas only without the land for 99 years
- GCC companies - In investment zones for 99 years
- Ex- Patriates - In the investment zones for 99 years
