PLAN ABU DHABI 2030

Abu Dhabi government have set up an urban plan to change the face of Abu Dhabi within the coming two decades  up to the year 2030.

The amount of invested capital to complete the transformation of Abu Dhabi and its suburbs will be about dhs 600 bn ,only in the  real estate sector . Billions of dhs will be injected as  well to upgrade   and equip infrastructure   to the  present  areas and newly developed  ones .

The “Plan Abu Dhabi 2030 – Urban Structure Frame Work Plan “  have four major districts :
Central Business District
Lulu Island District
Grand Mosque District
Capital District

Other Districts  included in  the plan such as :
Yas Island – Recreation and Leisure District
Sa’adiyat Island – The Cultural District

According to the plan the present population of the emirate is estimated to increase from 930,000 to 3,100,000 in 2030 . The projected population of Abu Dhabi Island will be 1,330,000
